To align the academic and research programmes of the Department with the dynamic needs of the petroleum industry, the Department is guided by the KNUST Petroleum Industry Advisory Board (KPIAB) which comprises seasoned industry experts, distinguished alumni, and key stakeholders. Through regular consultations, collaborative initiatives, and strategic planning, the advisory board contributes significantly to enhancing the relevance, quality, and global competitiveness of the petroleum engineering education and research programmes at KNUST.
