Head of Department
Dr. Yen Adams Sokama-Neuyam, a distinguished Senior Lecturer, is the Head of the Department of Petroleum Engineering, KNUST. With a proven track record in leadership, research, teaching, and international collaboration, Dr. Sokama-Neuyam who is a visionary and pragmatic leader driven by a high sense of diligence and strong commitment to excellence, is known for his exceptional ability to accomplish tasks with speed and precision. Friendly but firm and just, Dr. Sokama-Neuyam holds a Ph.D. and MSc. in Petroleum Engineering from the University of Stavanger, Norway, and a BSc. from KNUST. His vision is to build a globally recognised Petroleum Engineering education and research programme right here in Ghana.
