In line with the global energy transition and increasing demand for multidisciplinary expertise, the Department is broadening its academic offerings. Starting in the 2026/2027 academic year, the Department is set to launch a new programme — BSc. Petroleum and Energy Systems Engineering. This forward-looking move highlights our dedication to leading in energy education by preparing graduates who are not only rooted in traditional petroleum engineering but also ready to contribute significantly to emerging energy systems and the wider shift towards sustainable energy solutions.
